Moscow C&S Club Exhibition and “Zaletayevana- 2008” Forum

Dear colleagues! Jubilee exhibition of cacti and other succulent plants dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Moscow C&S Club will start on the 26th of October, 2008 and last two weeks till the 9th of November.

The exposition will be open to the public daily except Monday.
Working hours: Thursday 10.00 – 19.00, Sunday 11.00 – 18.00
Other days 10.00 – 18.00
The exhibition will take place in the Timiryazev State Museum of Biology situated at 15, Malaya Gruzinskaya street (metro stations Year 1905 Street and Krasnopresnenskaya).
Ticket office closes an hour before the closing of exhibition.

As usual there will be a special stall where one can buy plants, seeds, C&S literature and all kinds of C&S memorabilia.

As in previous years we are going to hold a festival “Zaletayevana”. The program of “Zaletayevana- 2008” takes two days, 25 and 26th of October (Sat. - Sun.)

We are expecting Gert Neuhuber from Austria to visit our club jubilee and festival. A well-known expert in genus Gymnocalycium, Gert Neuhuber is going to deliver two lectures.

“Zaletayevana- 2008” festival program also includes:
lectures accompanied by photos taken in habitat;
open session of “Gymnorus” group;
plants auction, every-ticket-wins lottery, quiz game;
presentation of new book by Victor Gapon of his first journey to Argentina together with Gert Neuhuber
and other events.

Exact schedule of all the jubilee events will be published in the end of September.
